Our client, an independent media platform producing audio-first content, is looking for an experienced and well-connected Producer to join their growing editorial team. The role will focus on developing and delivering thought-provoking shows and segments across themes including politics, finance, and mental health.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Producer with strong editorial instincts and a background in current affairs or broadcast media, who’s ready to take ownership of content from pitch to publication.

What you’ll be doing:

• Producing original radio or podcast content focused on current affairs, finance and wider societal issues
• Developing editorial ideas and shaping show structure
• Sourcing and booking credible, relevant contributors
• Working with presenters to script and produce compelling conversations
• Managing timelines and ensuring delivery is consistent and to a high standard
• Responding to the news cycle and emerging themes with fresh ideas

What they’re looking for:

• Experience as a Producer in radio, podcasting or editorial environments
• A strong grasp of political, financial and social topics
• A network of contacts within media, public affairs or finance is highly desirable
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to run projects independently
• Excellent communication, organisation and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with live or talk-based formats is a plus
